AMD and DivXNetworks provide infrastructure that enables digital home

Today, AMD announced support for the upcoming DivX Connected Certification Program from DivXNetworks, Inc. The DivX Connected Program is a comprehensive technology initiative that connects digital media from the PC to consumer electronics products throughout the home.

Powerful AMD Athlon 64 processors, in conjunction with DivX Connect technology, represent a step forward in the evolution of the digital home, driving the convergence of entertainment and home computing. AMD Athlon 64 processors do the heavy lifting to stream digital content from the PC to home electronic devices.
