The National Aeronautics and Space Administration is celebrating five years of space flight on the international space station with two weeks of events
Events start Thursday with a panel discussion -- "Five Years in Space: The Station Astronauts" -- and a news conference featuring former station residents at NASA's Johnson Space Center, Houston.
The event will be telecast live on NASA TV, and will include questions from reporters, as well as employees at Johnson and other participating NASA locations.
The panelists will include Jim Voss, expedition-two flight engineer; Peggy Whitson, expedition-five flight engineer; Ed Lu, expedition-seven flight engineer; Michael Foale, commander of expedition-eight, and Mike Fincke, expedition-nine flight engineer.
